Congratulations to Giles Yeo on being promoted to a Professorship in Molecular Metabolism at the University.
Giles’ research focuses on the influence of genes on feeding behaviour and body weight. He is also programme co-lead for the MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit, Scientific Director of the Unit’s Genomics and Transcriptomics Core, Honorary President of the British Dietetic Association and Public Engagement Campion for the School of Clinical Medicine. He is also well known as a broadcaster and author.
Congratulations to one of our Affiliated PIs, Amanda Sferruzzi-Perri who has also been promoted to Professor.
The announcements were made in this week’s Cambridge University Reporter; professorships will be effective from October 2022.
