As part of the MRC Centenary celebrations the MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit will open it’s doors to the public on Saturday 22nd June from 1pm-4pm, with hands on activities and tours of our state-of-the-art laboratories.
Learn about the latest research into the causes and consequences of obesity, diabetes and related diseases. Why do we choose to eat the food we do? Why is it unhealthy to have too much fat – or too little. How does early environment affect health later in life? Explore these questions and many others in talks, lab tours and hands-on activities.
